I love old car images - this is a 1966 Cadillac and was probably someone's dream car at one time, now just a rotting relic. The trouble with old car photos is that much of the time they're cluttered up with stuff you normally don't want in a picture. Painters just ignore those elements and don't paint them. Photographers will painstakingly remove them using the Clone brush in Photoshop. And then there's this option - don't take it out but present it in a different style so it doesn't distract from the subject: the Car.
My photography is based on inspiration, location, imagination and perspiration. I view each image I work on as a starting point for the creative process. While it can be exasperating finding the right look for an image that has potential, the end result can be extremely satisfying. I embrace new technologies and software not as they become available but as they become essential to my producing the finest images possible. Using a variety of techniques and skills you'll likely see HDR (High Dynamic Range) photography, impressionism, monochrome, mixed media, and selective focus photographs available here.
