"Morning Mist" was captured near Red Mountain Pass, in Colorado's magnificent San Juan Mountains in September. The air was still, allowing the mist to rise dreamily from the lake's surface. The sun had not yet crested the mountain tops, giving me a lovely flat light to work with.
