Artist's Description

This is a classic 1949 Studebaker Champion. Champions were manufactured between 1939-1954, and though the bullet nosed Commanders were the most distinctive of the Studebakers the Champion was their biggest seller. Sporting a 196 cubic inch engine generating 80 hp, the Champions weren't known for their performance, but instead gave people a relatively inexpensive choice for a family vehicle. This print would make a great gift for the car buff in your family!

About John Strong

John Strong

My photography is based on inspiration, location, imagination and perspiration. I view each image I work on as a starting point for the creative process. While it can be exasperating finding the right look for an image that has potential, the end result can be extremely satisfying. I embrace new technologies and software not as they become available but as they become essential to my producing the finest images possible. Using a variety of techniques and skills you'll likely see HDR (High Dynamic Range) photography, impressionism, monochrome, mixed media, and selective focus photographs available here. John Strong Arts is not just photography, it's Photo Art. Thanks for visiting!
